Description: In Greek mythology, the phoenix is a bird that dies by bursting into flames and then is reborn from the ashes. The phoenix has come to symbolise “renewal” and has been used by many cultures and in Christian allegory. This piece was named after the phoenix as the excitement in the piece reflects the happiness and energy of the phoenix being reborn.
