Description: This piece explores the whole tone scale. In this scale all the notes are a tone (whole step) apart. This gives the pieces its otherworldly sound. This piece will probably not sound “quite right” to students who have not encountered this scale before but I encourage you to get your ears used to the sounds produced. Try for a meditative, serene performance.
